Oh boy, release issues and late demos make us really sad. But what a nice act by Penny Arcade to make a little comic strip about Bioshock. I waited for this since a while and now it happened.
It really makes a Splicer smile again!

After several English interviews with Garry Schyman, now the German games website 4Players.de has interviewed the Bioshock soundtrack composer.
When you have read the other interviews, this one has no big news for you. But there are some interesting details like the fact that Schyman used human voices to create eerie sounds. He also used breathing sounds of ill patients, recorded by a doctor.
The interview is in German, so you need a translation tool or maybe trust in your German skills from high school.

After a moment of silence, the second wave of Bioshock reviews could begin now. Gameinformer starts with a quite short article about the game.
The editors Andrew Reiner and Joe Juba both gave Bioshock a score of 10 (out of 10).
Andrew Reiner's final comments:
It’s ingenious, enthralling, and a masterpiece of the most epic proportions. So without further delay, would you kindly enter Rapture so that you too can experience the best that video games have to offer?

Imagine a released Xbox 360 demo, a awaited PC demo and now even the first full retail versions of Bioshock spotted in the wild. The consequences? The official boards were flooded and experience severe stability issues leading to the forum being unavailable for several times. Currently there are more than 1300 users online.
Community Manager Elizabeth Tobey wasn't available for a comment, but I guess the forum servers need a boost.

Gametrailers.com is doing so much for Bioshock that I ask myself why they are not renamed into "2K Gametrailers". So take a look at another interview trailer about plasmids.
The team talks about plasmids as genetic weapons and how they developed every aspect of it, including the look and usage.
Right now I fear there might not be much left to talk about in the Making of DVD, which is included in the game's collector's edition. I guess I would enjoy a continious video more instead of single clips, which have overlapping topics.
