Bioshock is such a big topic right now and the Games Convention is only three days ahead. But today, 2K Games announced its lineup for the biggest European video game expo without mentioning Bioshock. Instead of that, 2K listed only Borderlands and Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution. Under the 2K Sports label NHL 2K8, NBA 2K8 and Top Spin 3 will be shown.

Bioshock does not belong to games, which are far away on the horizon, because it's as good as released. This may be an arguement not to have it in the main focus. But on the other hand I wonder why it's not hyped since the release in Europe will be during the GC in Germany.

Maybe 2K teamed up with Microsoft, because the game might be a good Xbox 360 platform seller. In another press release today about the lower 360 price, Microsoft stated:

The lower cost opens the door to Xbox 360 for more people, helping to broaden the market for gaming and enabling more people to enjoy titles like Halo 3 (Bungie), Scene It? (Microsoft Game Studios), Bioshock (2k Games), Project Gotham Racing 4 (Bizarre Creations), Mass Effect (BioWare), Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation (Bandai/Namco), Naruto (Ubisoft), Blue Dragon (Mistwalker/Artoon Co. Ltd) and more – all only on Xbox 360.

I assume that we will see and play Bioshock at least at Microsoft's booth if not somewhere at 2K Games. The heavy Bioshock GC-Demo rumours are another hint that it must be shown, despite missing lineup appearence.

The long awaited Bioshock PC demo is nearly there. Interestingly, the demo start seems to fall into the start of the launch party in Boston.
